When tea enthusiasts think of a traditional Chinese tea, one of the first teas that comes to mind is Dragonwell. Hand-picked in early spring, the tender tea buds are sent down the hillside to the artisans. The artisans pan fry the fresh leaves to create its signature flat leaves. This frying technique is how Dragonwell obtains its the gentle, chestnut aroma. The tea is smooth and mellow with light notes of toasted grain, spring greens and a hint of sweetness that likes to linger softly on the tongue. The result is a clean, balanced cup that reflects centuries of craft and care.
Dragonwell contains moderate amounts of caffeine. Can be steeped for 3-4 infusions.
